We at PicoQuant specialize in the development and manufacturing of devices for electro-optical measurements. Our team consists of around 120 employees with diverse backgrounds in science and engineering. To strengthen our support team, we are looking for a full-time employee (m/f/d) who is open-minded and enjoys traveling the world.

Working hours: Full-time
Location: Berlin-Adlershof, hybrid
Starting salary: €45,000 – €52,000 (gross) per year for a 40-hour workweek, depending on industry and overall work experience

Your future tasks include:

• You are the point of contact for all service-related topics for our national and international customers, with a focus on our laser and photon-counting products.
• You carry out worldwide service assignments on our high-end microscopy and spectroscopy systems.
• You analyze root causes and find solutions through cross-departmental collaboration with development, production, and other teams.
• You continuously update and further develop our knowledge database.

Your profile:

• You have successfully completed a degree or vocational training with a focus on electrical engineering, optics, or a related discipline.
• You are helpful, communicative, and demonstrate intercultural sensitivity when working with international colleagues and customers.
• Ideally, you have gained practical experience with laser-based measurement methods in spectroscopy or microscopy.
• You possess advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems and, ideally, programming skills in Python or C/C++.
• You have a basic understanding of electronics and can apply it in your daily work.
• You are willing to undertake frequent international travel throughout the year (8-10 trips, each lasting approximately one week).
• You speak English at a very high level (minimum C1).
• Applying for and obtaining a USA visa is required to perform this position.
