Technology Park Berlin Adlershof at Hannover Messe
13. to 17. April 2015; Hall 3, Stand E06
Microsystems technology offers possible solutions to global megatrends such as scarcity of resources, sustainability, mobility, and urbanisation. The Technology Park Adlershof – the prime location for successful research institutions, high-tech companies, and future technologies – will showcase new developments and innovative products from this field at HannoverMesse from April 13-17, 2015. We will have joint exhibition stand with IVAM, the professional association for microtechnology in Germany.
The company FUSS-EMV Ing. Max Fuss GmbH & Co. KG focuses on reliability of power electronics and electronic drive systems. Whether electric cars or wind turbines securing our power supply, strong electromagnetic interference is inherent to fast switching operations. The company aims at identifying its causes and finding solutions.
Innovative diode lasers enable us to tap new fields of application in engineering and medical technology. The high-performance laser diodes produced by DirectPhotonics GmbH are tailored for the cutting and welding of metal and 3D production. The company views its products as the optical motor for engineering which reach especially high performance levels by combining semiconductors.
The assistance systems by GFal (Society for the Promotion of Applied Computer Science) use only tiny amounts of energy. Ambient Assisted Living is one of the possible answers to recent demographic developments. Energy self-sufficient circuitry for lights, heating and appliances can be easily and economically adjusted to different needs of different users. According to the GFal, this is also cost-efficient because the structure of apartments and buildings do not have to altered.
The Innovation Cluster Microsystems Technology and Materials in Berlin Adlershof
Fifty companies with 700 employees are active in microsystems technology in Berlin Adlershof. They focus on the development and manufacturing of products for precision engineering and microsystems technology, semiconductor crystals, reference materials and special materials, high vacuum technology, and chemical analysis. Adding to this are leading research institutions including Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin für Materialien und Energie (HZB), Leibniz Institute for Crystal Growth (IKZ), BAM Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing, Ferdinand-Braun-Institut, Leibniz-Institut für Höchstfrequenztechnik (FBH) as well as the Center for Microsystems Technology (ZEMI), an association of six research facilities.
