35,000 people, 35,000 stories. One goal: Crafting future from diverse perspectives.
Berlin Adlershof, that’s Germany’s largest and most successful science and technology park and Berlin's largest media location. It is home to over 1,300 companies and 18 scientific institutions with about 28,000 employees from more than 50 countries.
Around 6,400 students study on the natural sciences campus of the Humboldt University of Berlin.
The diversity of the people working, studying, researching, and living here is enriching and inspiring. It is also essential for the economic success of the area and Berlin as a whole, because only in a tolerant, cosmopolitan region will we be able to continue to attract talent, boost economic growth, and overcome the challenges ahead.
Campaign launched
WISTA Management GmbH (WISTA), managing company of the Adlershof Technology Park, has initiated a local campaign for more tolerance and openness, which is now being launched. Together with local partners — companies and scientific institutions — WISTA is sending the clear signal that diversity is a strength of the technology park and at the core of its success. The initiative is also a reaction to the tendencies towards segregation and discrimination that have become increasingly apparent in parts of German/European society in recent months.
The campaign will be advertised on large banners and posters as well as online, starting on 8 July. WISTA invites organizations and companies from Adlershof to take part in the campaign and set an example for democratic values, diversity, and internationality. If you would like to participate, you can download the campaign motifs free of charge and easily produce and distribute your own advertising material to demonstrate your support.
