Successful story for WESTT SOLUTIONS
Engine manufacturer Price Induction installed an educational engine bench at the NASA in Cleveland
The success of the WESTT educational tools of the engine manufacturer Price Induction is now established worldwide: the virtual engine test bench WESTT CS/BV has just been installed at the NASA in the USA, at the University of Liverpool in the UK and at the Linköping University in Sweden!
This unique solution of a virtual engine bench WESTT CS/BV is already equipping French engineering schools like ENAC in France, aviation training centers like EWM Aviation Ground School in Brazil and also very dynamic universities such as the University of Balamand in Lebanon, the Rzeszow University of Technology in Poland and the Hogeschool InHolland Delft in the Netherlands.
Moreover, while its endurance test campaign is intensively continuing as planned, the DGEN turbofan engine integrated into the WESTT BR solution has become a reliable and proficient research tool. After two first installations in France at the ISAE-Supaero engineering school in Toulouse and at the University of Bordeaux 1 CR-IMA, the WESTT BR will equip in the coming months the test benches of the Civil Aviation University of China in Tianjin.
Today, Price Induction employs around 50 people in the Aquitaine region in France in Anglet (offices, workshop) and Tarnos (test benches). With its three subsidiaries in Atlanta, Sao José and Berlin as well as its representation network, Price Induction is building strong relationships with worldwide players of training, higher education and research and thus increases the awareness of General Aviation’s aircraft manufacturers about the DGEN engine. Following this year’s successful participations to the Abu Dhabi Air Expo, AERO Friedrichshafen, ASME Turbo Expo, Paris Air Show, EAA AirVenture Oshkosh and CEAS Linköping, Price Induction will be exhibiting its technology and WESTT SOLUTIONS for the first time at the Dubai Air Show on November 17-21 2013 on booth #652.
