Photonik Tage Berlin Brandenburg to take place in Adlershof
Most important photonics industry event in the federal capital region
For the first time, the Science and Technology Park Berlin-Adlershof will host the Photonik Tage Berlin Brandenburg (Photonics Days Berlin Brandenburg) on the 18th and 19th October 2017. The 400 to 500 expected visitors include guests and delegations from the US, Japan, Brazil, Poland, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, France and Israel.
Sixty-seven exhibitors (companies and scientific institutions) have registered for the Photonik Tage Berlin Brandenburg. Fifty-seven representatives from the industry, 27 from research institutions as well as 14 from politics, industry associations and project sponsors will give presentations across eight workshops. Topics include quantum optics, innovative optical components, integrated sensor systems, laser material processing, water analytics as well as PolyPhotonics, but also issues such as internationalisation and entrepreneurship.
The Photonik Tage Berlin Brandenburg are the most significant photonics industry event in the federal capital region. They are hosted by Photonics Cluster Berlin Brandenburg and funded by Berlin Partner for Business and Technology GmbH, Optec-Berlin-Brandenburg (OpTecBB) e.V. and Brandenburg Invest. The Photonik Tage Berlin Brandenburg succeed the trade show “Laser Optics Berlin” (later renamed “micro photonics”), which was originally founded in the Technology Park Adlershof in 1996, all the while making its own mark.
