New: Clean Energy Trainer
Heliocentris and h-tec cooperate in the field of renewable energies training products
Heliocentris Energy Solutions AG, a leading specialist in clean energy storage solutions, announces the signing of a cooperation agreement in the field of technical and vocational training equipment with h-tec Wasserstoff-Energie-Systeme GmbH, a supplier of solar hydrogen training systems.
This cooperation combines the expertise of both companies in developing high-quality technical and vocational training products in the field of renewable energies and so reduces the time required to develop new products. h-tec develops and produces the hardware components, while Heliocentris is in charge of product integration, software development and the supporting documentation. The new products are marketed exclusively through Heliocentris’ global sales channels.
Renewable energy technologies are regarded as a solution for an environmentally-friendly energy supply in the future. As a result, there is huge worldwide interest in vocational training focusing on these new technologies.
The “Clean Energy Trainer”, the first product to arise from the cooperation, is being presented by Heliocentris for the first time at the training trade fair, WORLDDIDAC, currently taking place in Basel. From January 2011 onwards, the product will be available on the market as an entry-level product for technical and vocational training. The “Clean Energy Trainer” maps the entire energy conversion chain from renewable energy sources, such as the sun and wind, through hydrogen storage right up to selectable load profiles.
Henrik Colell, CEO of Heliocentris: “Renewable energies and their education are currently key areas of interest on the training market. We are happy to see our development times shortened through our cooperation with h-tec, and hence to be able to develop this market even more dynamically across the world. The short development time and the high quality of the “Clean Energy Trainer” which is currently being presented underlines the power of this cooperation.”
Uwe Küter, Managing Director of h-tec adds: “This is the right response to the growing requirements in the increasingly important segment of renewable energies for vocational training. Heliocentris and h-tec complement each other excellently in this area and can combine their strengths in an optimum fashion.”
