Best of “Adlershof Journal”: How Adlershof tackles Grand Challenges
The world is facing major challenges: mobility, the energy transition, digitalisation and global health are just some of the issues for which innovative solutions are needed. We also want to leave a planet worth living on for future generations. At the Adlershof Science and Technology Park, we therefore bring together talents from a wide range of disciplines in a transdisciplinary way. It is this unique microcosm of start-ups, high-tech companies, university and non-university research that enables the development of pioneering technologies and new products for future prosperity.
In a Best of “Adlershof Journal” edition, we would like to introduce some of these talented individuals whose research and developments are making a significant contribution to solving the Grand Challenges: For example, they are working on the next generation of photovoltaic modules and planning wind farms for the energy transition. They are researching new resource saving fuels for aviation, shipping, and the food industry. They are developing diagnostics and therapeutics and working on sustainable agriculture. They are all united by an unconditional desire to help shape the future.
