5th International Sodium Battery Symposium, SBS-5
Monday, 23. September 2024 - Wednesday, 25. September 2024
Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin für Materialien und Energie
Volmerstraße 2,
12489 Berlin
Bunsen-Saal
In recent years, we have seen a rapidly growing interest in sodium batteries that is fueled by several companies around the world starting to implement the technology for electric vehicles, power tools and for stationary energy storage.
After events in Jena (SBS-1, 2018), Dresden (SBS-2, 2021 online), Berlin (SBS-3, 2022) and Dresden (SBS-4, 2023), this fifth Sodium Battery symposium is organized as an in-person meeting. Overall, around 250 participants can register. More than 25 presentations will be given by renown speakers on the following topics:
- Electrodes and liquid electrolytes for sodium-ion (Na-ion) batteries
- Electrodes and electrolytes for sodium-ion state (Na solid-state) batteries
- Intermediate and high temperature sodium-ion (Na) batteries
- Towards commercialization
We wish us all a nice meeting with great discussions, networking and fun!
