Science Café Adlershof
Tuesday, 10. October 2023 // 16.00 - 17.30
Rudower Chaussee 24,
12489 Berlin
a:head area
Every second Tuesday of the month, young scientists in Adlershof are invited to get into conversation with each other!
Anastasia Alexandridou from HU chemistry department will talk about vitamin D in winter and bioanalytical chemistry. The title of her talk is: “As we head into winter, let's talk about vitamin D”. There will be enough time to ask questions or simply chat with the guests and participants.
We will meet at a:head area, Forum Adlershof, Rudower Chaussee 24, 12489 Berlin. It is in the small add-on building next to Esswirtschaft. (https://conventions.wista.de/veranstaltungsraeume-berlin) Free drinks will be provided thanks to WISTA.
The Science Café is planned to happen from 4-5:30 PM. Since we have one speaker the event is likely to end earlier.
This event is for every interested person – academic, non-academic, BSc to PostDoc.
Please reach out to me if you have further questions. This event is supposed to happen monthly and in person, so I am looking for people interested to participate actively as presenters. It’s about a 10-minute impulse presentation about your research in everyday, entertaining language and afterwards a ~30 minute discussion at round tables. So if you cannot participate this time, but you are keen to present your research, feel free to contact me anyways.
